Robinsons Malls will hold Locally Sourced at Robinsons Magnolia Aug. 28-30 and Sept. 4-6.The fresh produce and plant fair at the upper ground level atrium is organized with the Department of Agriculture (DA) and Bureau of Plant Industry. Aside from showcasing fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood, the fair will help shoppers start and develop their own urban garden.
To be showcased are flowering plants (King Louie flowers), ornamental plants (Uni Green ornamental, succulents like cactus), house and office plants, fruit and veggie plants, herbs, seeds and seedlings).
Farm produce under DA’s “Kadiwa ni Ani at Kita” project that supports small farmers and fishermen will be featured: vegetables, fruits, coconut and dairy products, herbs, tea, coffee, seeds and seafood. Safe shopping protocols will be implemented.
